Listed below are resources for choice voucher participants and staff.  Each of the trainings are to be read by staff and signed indicating that they have read and understand the training material.  Once completed the signed training documents must be sent to the fiscal intermediary who will maintain a training record for each staff.

  1. Recipient Rights - required initially

    You must complete an online "Rights of Recipients of Mental Health Services" training provided by Community Mental Health for Central Michigan.  This training must be completed within 30 days of beginning employment.
  1. Recipient Rights Refresher TrainingRequired annually
  1. Person-Centered Plan Training and Training Verification - Required initially and annually
  1. CORPORATE COMPLIANCE, ETHICS, & DEFICIT REDUCTION ACT TRAINING - Required initially and annually
  1. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) - Required initially and annually
  1. Limited English Proficiency - Required initially and annually
  1. Cultural Competence/Diversity - Required initially and annually
  1. First Aid Training

    You must pass the exam and purchase the wall certificate or the wallet card.  You have a choice of taking the First Aid Training online (using the link above) or taking a class in person.

    For reimbursement for taking the First Aid class, you must submit evidence of payment and a copy of the card/certificate to the fiscal intermediary.

    *This training is required every two years
  1. Infection Control/Blood Borne Pathogens - Required initially and annually
  1. Safety and Fire Prevention - Required initially and annually
  1. Basic Medication Administration (If recommended in individual's PCP)
  1. Positive Approaches/Challenging Behaviors/Non-Aversive Techniques & Crisis Intervention (If recommended in individual's PCP) - Required initially
